Biography

Seth Davies is an American poker player and World Poker Tour champion. During his career, he has amassed over $44 million in career earnings and one World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet.

According to The Hendon Mob Database, Davies's live results date back to June 2010. One of his first cashes was a 123rd-place finish in the 2011 WSOP Main Event, which earned him $54,851. Davies' first live win came in April 2016, when he took down the WPT Canadian Spring Championship for the equivalent of $203,992. That proved to be the first of many six-figure scores.

A runner-up finish in the 2016 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Championship earned Davies $575,000. He also banked €207,500 for a sixth-place finish in a €50,000 High Roller at the 2018 EPT Barcelona stop. There was a notable shift in Davies' regular buy-ins from 2018 onwards, with him frequenting high roller and super high roller events.

In November 2019, Davies collected his first $1 million prize, $1,020,000 to be exact. This was his reward for a fifth-place finish in the $250,000 Super High Roller Bowl in The Bahamas. Almost every score since than has been worth six figures.

At the 2021 WSOP, Davies finished fourth in the $250,000 Super High Roller for $930,791.

Davies' second seven-figure score came in January 2023, a $1,078,347 prize for finishing second in the $100,000 PCA Super High Roller.

In August 2024, Davies banked a new career-best $3,206,000 for winning the $300,000 Super High Roller Bowl 7-Max in Cyprus. He followed that up two months later with a $1,500,000 haul for winning a $100,000 PLO Super High Roller Bowl event in Las Vegas.

How Seth Davies Found Success and Balance in Poker’s Elite Circle

At the 2025 Triton Poker Super High Roller Series in Montenegro, Davies won a $50,000 NLHE event for $1,490,741 and finished second in the $200,000 Triton Invitational for a career-best $4,190,000.

At the 2025 WSOP, Davies won the star-studded $250,000 NLHE Super High Roller for his first bracelet and yet another career-highest prize, $4,752,551.
