Glaser in Hunt for 3rd Bracelet of Summer at $2.5K Triple Draw Final Table

Benny Glaser's remarkable 2025 WSOP is continuing this Saturday as the seven-time bracelet winner has reached the final table of Event #56: $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw Lowball.

The British pro, who has already taken down the $1,500 Dealer’s Choice and $1,500 Mixed: PLO Hi-Lo 8 or Better at this year’s series, will now be hoping to complete a hat trick of bracelets and strengthen his case for the 2025 WSOP Player of the Year title.

The event drew 463 entries and will award $208,552 to the winner. Play is scheduled to conclude today, Saturday, June 21.

The task ahead of Glaser will be a tough one, as he returns to a stacked final table sitting fourth in chips with 2,520,000. Fellow bracelet winners Chris Klodnicki, David "Bakes" Baker, and George Alexander are also in contention, making for a final seven that boasts a combined 13 WSOP bracelets.

2024 Razz champion George Alexander leads the way with 3,530,000 and will be looking to add to his career earnings of $681,279, as per The Hendon Mob.

Just missing out on the final table was legendary actor James Woods, who is no stranger to cashing in WSOP events. The actor finished 8th for $17,000, adding to previous cashes in the $1,500 Razz (48th – $3,049) and $1,500 Mixed: PLO Hi-Lo 8 or Better (68th – $4,034).

Woods, who recently attended Miami John's celebration of life, was a consistent advocate for the late Cernuto's inclusion in Poker's Hall of Fame.

Glaser began Day 3 inside the top ten with 1,115,000 and has already secured a minimum payout of $22,542, along with more valuable points in the Player of the Year race.

He currently sits in 2nd in the rankings on 2,241.79 points, and continues to chase impressive leader Scott Bohlman, who leads the way on 2,397.19 points. Viktor Blom, who was last seen playing the $50,000 PLO High Roller, rounds out the podium places on 2,116.13 points.

If Glaser can capture a third bracelet this summer, he would join a short list of just six players in WSOP history to win three titles in a single series, a club that includes luminaries such as Phil Ivey, Phil Hellmuth, and Scott Seiver.
